My guess is that a good way would just be to visit your local PD Station and ask them if they know which siren they use. You can also post a video here, and maybe a member here will recognize it.

A few years ago when I had to be transported to another hospital in the back of an Ambulance, being the nerd I am, I asked the paramedics I was with what siren they used. They had no clue whatsoever, but since it was late at night they did put the siren on for a brief period just for me, haha. 😂

I wonder if that is the weirdest request they have ever heard. At least you made the most out of your ride! Also, hope you are doing well currently. 🙂

Awesome stories, thanks for your replies and apologies for taking so long to respond. One day on a car ride home I heard the siren clear as day and new it was a Whelen.
Still, I think it'd be a pretty weird thing to go up to the station and ask. I'm not about to make myself any more weird than people already might view me as. 😛
