Hey everyone, 

So I  just have a quick question that I hope can be answered by people here;

Police vehicle slots

So is there unlimited police slots now? (police5, police7, sheriff3, etc.)? I always thought I saw something saying that with the release of 0.4, but I'm not entirely sure. So, if there are unlimited police slots, what are the ways to go about adding those cars in? Or is it the same addon process via adding vehicles with another script such as Albo's addon manager?

Negative on the infinite vehicle slots, you need to go about the add-on process the same as prior to 0.4

 

What 0.4 does do, is allow you to have any of those add-on vehicles spawn ingame, or be choose-able from the garage.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but im curious..I notice that Ford Explorer or FPIU hatcback suvs in the game as addons do not pull people over... only noticed it with these vehicles does not matter who the author is but when I go to pull them over I can't blip anyone or initiate a traffic stop at all in these cars its strange. Anyone know why that is? Maybe there is a way to make the game think its a "sheriff2" or something as reference for stopping vehicles?

Sounds like an issue with the ELS config's for the vehicles. I'll try to track down a topic with the correct information on what needs to be changed.

It doesn't really seem to be ELS though cause with ELS lights on they move over its when I hit Shift to initiate a traffic stop it doesn't blip them, only the explorer vehicle though as I have a charger addon vehicle ELS and it works haha

I would suggest checking the setting, and giving it a try regardless. It's an easily reversible, and quick change to make.

 

We need to eliminate a known cause, before we start taking guesses at the issue.

 

 

 

 

My only other guess, is that in the vehicles.meta, the vehicle is missing the flag as law enforcement.

However, I don't know if that would cause the issue you're describing.

how would i get addon vehicles to be choosable from the police garage and have police peds drive them

Question— I use extrapoliceslots, but I just wanna add additional vehicles to my highway patrol fleet. Does anyone know what slots to use for my highway patrol only. Thanks in advance 

you can use any slot, if you want to be able to select the vehicles in the police station without spawn it, and also see it on the highway you have to go to Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\data and edit the file agency.xml, make a backup of the file, take time to read it, look for this lines

<Name>San Andreas Highway Patrol</Name> replace the cars or add the cars you want to see on the highway
