New 0.4 Features and their integration into plugins

Featured Replies

Hi there!

Just a question and a suggestion to those fine people maintaining and/or developing plugins. Would it be possible to implement new features that LSPDFR 0.4 has built in to play nice with plugins such as Stop the Ped, Traffic Policer, Ultimate Backup, Smart Radio etc (those are so far my list of must haves)...

for example, .4 now offers:

Frisk /Stop the Ped has Pat Down/ - two different behaviours

Grab also different to stop the ped's grab

Kneel down also different to stop the ped's .... you know where this is going right?

I noticed that those do things differently because i could not call in .4's prisoner transport while the ped was knelt down by Stop the Ped. Also those actions (like Frisk) do not count to the site's profile.

Also - StP and SmartRadio have prisoner transport buttons, can they call .4's prisoner transport ?

I know that this would invalidate parts of those plugins, but when it's available in core now, why not use it or extend upon it rather than do things differently? There are probably more goodies now available in core that plenty of plugins used to do their way. While I'm not willing to give up on those plugins - it was a pain using the builtin computer for checking licence plates, all hail Computer+ -  from 3rd person they are barely readable and the default computer, or any LSPDFR menu for that matter, does not open while in first person in vehicle.

Cheers!
