Hello!

I have just installed LSPDFR and getting on duty, jumping in the car, getting a call that gives as blue circle on the map. So far so good... but when i arrive there is nothing there? i even tried to instant teleport there and still nothing there. And the blue circle disappear before i even get there, is that how it should be?

Is the point just to go from blue circle to the next and do nothing? I sure can  arrest a random ped anywhere, but that make no sense. 

So what do i missing?

You have to press Y to accept the callout.

Silly question, do you press 'Y' to accept the call?

Didn't see this when posted, but mirroring that!

After you press Y is when in most cases the call will generate the extra stuff.

I think i missed that part in "frequent asked question" topic, if it even is told there? Tried to search for a guide but could not find any. So ill just jump in and try the Y 😄

Hmm..it seams like i cant press E to arrest the ped i get close to when accepting a call with Y, is that how it is supposed to be? 
I still can arrest anyone else i stop who is not wanted.

When you're going to arrest someone you point a gun at them (you can do it on foot but a gun point is easier), Hold E to make them stop and then hold E behind them to arrest them.

Thats exactly what i am doing, pressing E real close to them. If i runt near them and punch them to the ground , E still not work and the other AI cops makes the arrest instead. 

EDIT: Hmm..i think it ONLY work IF you point the gun right? because now i did start to arrest one, but a moron AI cop shot him XD

I just edited my post, i did like you said and i started to arrest one, with the gun pointed at the wanted one, you MUST point a gun right? 
But a moron AI killed him before i completed the arrest 😂

I think sometimes you can ask to stop without pointing but i can never get it to do that so I always point a gun.

Same for me, so ill just keep aiming then. 
And a another question, is there any settings for keys? i want to change search key to something else so i can turn the sirens on without getting the search line in the face while not driving.

Most mods have a .ini file, I'm not sure if core LCPDFR has

I cant find one, so i guess im stuck with it.

~Pleasure ! I'm sure a member of the team will see this post and advise if the bindings are changeable for the core mod, I've never attempted it.

I really hope so, i mean, if i turn on the sirens and stop behind a car and want to make a search on the license, E will then turn of the sirens and the car starts to move away. 
And i also hope (if im not already can?) they add so you can turn off the cop AI that chase with you, they are stupid and only in your way and i have been run over plenty of times and nearly got killed every time 😂 

The options for changes keys are very limited - if it's tied to a default game action, you can change the game key to something else in the game's settings. I believe the FAQ should have info on what uses a default game action. They will be more customizable in 0.4.

I guess i have to change the key in GTA then. 
But a major question, can i turn off the cop AI? every time i arresting someone they just kill the criminal even if i have cuffed the ped, and that is really annoying.
