Hello, Ive downloaded GTA V recently and i downloaded the Rage Plugin Hook and watched a youtube tutorial, now everytime i try to load the game with the mod through rage, my game doesnt even start it just brings up a little window saying  it exited unexpectedly. Please help, ive tried running the game first then open the rage but even that doesnt seem to fix it. Thanks -TheCap

Hello, the game launched normally without any issues, the thing is ive tried removing some of the mods of LSPDFR and accidentally deleted some of the game files, but that has nothing to do with the game launching without RPH. If there is a possibility that someone can call me on discord and i  can screen share and download all the necessary stuff and someone who knows what to do watch and help me along the way.

What version of GTA 5 do you have? Rockstar Version or Steam.

I have the steam version

To do it through Steam:

1. Go to your Library
2. Right Click on GTA 5.

3. Select Properties.

4. Choose the Local Files tab.

5. Press "Verify Integrity of Local Files".

Ive done that but it still doesnt work, i also tried launching it without LSPDFR thing with it crashes it.

 

UPDATE: I reset gfta 5 by "almost redownloading it" and now instead it says my scripthook is out of date???? how can that be when i used the exact same link and download page. This makes no sense. For some reason adding mods to games these days is so difficult that i might as well never play with them again. 

Due to a recent update, ScriptHookV is out-of-date. It will take around 1-3 weeks to be updated.

Hi i tried something different today, i tried launching the game without any mods throught RPH but i still get the message of it crashing. Does it have something to do with RPH?

Try this: deactive Antivirus and start it. I use Avast and it worked for me.

Do this:

1. Download GTA 5 to have a clean version. 

2. Backup the GTA 5 clean version!
3. Install LSPDFR manually by drag-and-drop to your  GTA 5 directory.

4. Install RHP manually by drap-and-drop to your GTA 5 directory.

5. NOT NECESSARY: Delete "dinput8.dll" in your GTA 5 directory.

6. Start RHP.

Troubleshooting:
7. Go to RHP settings, if RHP crashes and go to "Command Switch" activate "Force DirectX 11" and "Force Windowed Mode".

8. When GTA 5 starts, just press F4 and type "LoadPlugin LSPDFR" or something like this. The autocomplete will help you

 

It seems like you have an issue with your RPH or LSPDFR installation or files.  Also do you get a crash notification from Rage Plugin Hook Menu, or just from GTA V's launcher saying it stopped unexpectedly?. If you merely have RPH and LSPDFR and not a lot of other mods/scripts/plugins there is no reason you should be crashing this prematurely. Usually you at least get to the rage launch itself and get a crash from there, this seems client side and file related. Can you show us a screenshot of the following?, it will help me and hopefully those more intelligent and experienced than me assist you in getting your LSPDFR working.

 

- GTA V Root Installation Folder

- Plugins Folder

- LSPDFR folder within Plugins Folder

Did you remove dinput8.dll and the ScriptHookV from you Main Directory?

You cannot use files with .asi as an ending, because of the expected ScriptHookV update.
If you want to play LSPDFR, you have to delete every mod, that needs ScriptHookV.

For example "AdvancedHookV.asi" is still in your directory.

EDIT:
Do you have a clean GTA5 version as a backup? I recommend to have one.

No I do not, what ill do is redownload the game, and before changing anything get a clean copy, 
also is the .asi the issue to why my game keeps crashing?
