Linking account with LSPDFR

Dear reader,

This is my first time writing on the forums, although I've been a member for about 3-4 months now.

As I was going through the developer's account details, my eyes caught on to something which was the integration of your LSPDFR characters on the website.
I started doing some research as I wanted it too, it's a pretty cool option after all.

After searching, I read on how you could connect your account via the account settings. As I was making my way over there, I had no option whatsoever to connect my LSPDFR account with the mod itself so I traveled to my modded copy of GTA5 to see if I had to turn something on but nothing.

So, I came to the conclussion, why not ask it on the forums in hope that someone can help me and potentially help other players that are also not quite sure how to do this.
Is there a mod I need to install or do I, instead of manual install, need to have the automatic install files?

The current version of LSPDFR does not have account linking. The things you see on our profiles are from closed testing of the next version.
