What is best way to uninstall a plugin

Featured Replies

I'm new here and just found this very cool simulation about a week ago.  I got everything installed and working.  Really enjoying it and looking forward to 0.4.  However, I installed both Albo's Arrest Manager and Bejoljo's Stop the Ped.  After reading the forum some I think I should uninstall Arrest Manager before it causes problems with Stop the Ped.  I read the documentation for the plugin and the LSPDFR FAQ.  Couldn't find anything about uninstalling a plugin.  So before I screw something up I thought I should ask, what is the best way to uninstall a plugin?   Any adult supervision is appreciated.

I have only had to uninstall a couple mods during my 10 months of playing.  I just reverse the install.  Check out the read me of the mod installed and go to the folder and delete that file(s).  Don't take out Albo's common if you have other mods of his because that common file (which is in the main GTAV folder) is what updates all his mods at once when his mods needs to be updated.

This.

Uninstalling mods is very simple, just delete the .ini, .dll and the audio files if it came with some.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Thank you.

if you just want to disable it and keep it for the future, you just need to rename the dll file to non-dll file extension (e.g. "dlx" or "dll.bak")

Thanks.  I didn't know that.  This may come in handy in the future if I only want certain plugins to run for a gaming session.
