It didn't start because it downloaded an update.
What happens when you launch it again?

Nothing at all, starts downloading it again and do the same thing.

. First, go where you have installed GTA.

2. Find "gtavlauncher.exe" and right click it and click "create shortcut."

3. On the shortcut, right click and hit proprieties, now you have to add -verify after your directory. Use the picture below as an example. Make sure you don't delete any quotes. (Note: Blacked out part for privacy reasons.)


4. Click apply, then hit the shortcut and the verify will start!

Not working either. Still updating. And I can't even verify my stuff because there are no quotes and when I write this: D:\Hry\GTA5\GTAVLauncher.exe -verify It still keeps downloading some update and doesn't work

Is your game pirated?
Its the rockstar edition?

Of course it is Rockstar edition....

1. Open the command prompt. 
2. Type the directory of the game. If you’re using the default directory type cd c:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V
3. Then, type GTAVLauncher.exe -verify -noChunkedDownload
4. It will download the update and should fixed your problem.
