I just want to start off by saying, thanks for your time in reading my request for help.

 

I was wondering if there was someone able to help me with a problem, or has advanced knowledge on editing ped files.

 

I'm looking to add additional ranks to the sleeves of the uniform of a ped, I've created all the ranks with the decl_diff_000_a_uni files.

I've included a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

But when I add them into the ytd file, it doesn't change anything in game.

I can't remember what else I need to edit in order to increase the slots of the ped to recognize the additional ranks in the ytd file.

Any help is super appreciated.

I'd really appreciate any info.

Added new components and textures takes modification of the peds ymt file, but not many people have delved into the encrypted files, and not much of the discoveries is floating about.

I've had someone help me before, but I can't remember who it was lol, and I forgot what we did... my memory fml.

 

But I'll research more into that.
