I like your thinking. Lol. Although I'm not really in the financial situation to be buying some MOAR RAM I'll try to save up some money. Thanks!

ram is cheap ya know...it's not like back in the mid 90s where a ram chip costs 100 bucks for 16 megs you can get a 2 gb ram stick for like 15 bucks

desktop or laptop?

high end stuff....is pricy...but you can get cheap and reliable ram for under 50 bucks

Edited by Asuna

pending what your laptop can handle, what I usually do when i need ram, is I pull out a chip I have, and take it with me to the store, usually best buy, and see if they can match it (in my case, I go right for the chips cause I know what I need) but here's a link to newegg and best buy, besure your computer can take more ram, i had a computer that could only take 1gb, and i had a 1gb and a 512 in it and it only read 1gb

like i said..check to be sure you computer can take more ram, if it can and you have a single 2gb ram chip you can get another 2gb ram chip, if you have two 1gb chips you can get a pack of 2 gb chips and put them in place of the 1gb's all depends on the computer

I know why this happends.

It all depends on your computer, you need to have good ram and prossesing power.

I get this sometimes, my GTA IV Takes a long time to load. Then when I press ALT+P It stops, however this

only happends to me when my computer is doing multiple taskes at once, your GTA IV is only loading the main

files of the game. Try managing unnessacery taskes you can also try to turn down your settings and uninstall mods

(If you have to many) This is all I curently know of. Give it a try!

I also have a labtop, Samsung with Intel Core i5 and NVIDIA OPTIMUS, It works fine
