I don't know whether it is just me, but sometimes downloads in this website tend to slow down to about 25 kb/s randomly for no reason sometimes, normally the download speed is quite fast, but this tend to happen to me every now and then. My internet speed is not the best thing ever, but it is quite stable and also quite fast in terms of download speed, I only face this issue on this website for some reason.

My best guess is that it's related to your location or your ISP.  I am downloading almost daily and rarely have slow downloads.  I'm sure Cyan will chip in with her thoughts on this.

Not sure about that, I usually get fast downloads as well, but like once per month the download speed is just crappy, usually it takes less than a 1 min to download a 192MB file on this site, but yesterday for example, it took me 1.5hrs just to download that file for some reason, and I remember seeing the speed being 18kb/s at some point.

Our main server was running a scheduled disk check at the time when you were having difficulties.

This probably meant that uncached downloads were taking a bit extra time (as these are downloaded from the main server), and coupled with extra demand due to summer was probably causing low speeds for a little while.

This should have all cleared up now, though.
