Backup Cars Despawning

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So as implied in the title, anytime I call in a backup unit or several backup units, as soon as they get out of their vehicles, the vehicle despawns most of the time and after the call is code 4, the back up units ends up having to walk away instead of driving away. This did not use to happen to me before the latest GTA V update (latest script hook v update). It is not a game breaking issue of course, but for immersion it really bothers me. Any ideas?

I know there is a plugin called Entity Persistence but I do not want to use that as that will overload the game engine memory at some point and I should not have to use it since all these years the backup units' vehicles did not despawn most of the time so quickly like that. Is there some configuration in the lspdfr backup.xml I should adjust? I looked through it and could not find any relevant lines.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.
