Locking Jail Cell?

Featured Replies

Totally random thought/question: is it possible to lock the jail cells when playing lspdfr?  I think I saw it done on one of JF's RP videos, but I've never seen a mod or anything to allow you to do it single player.  Any ideas?

I don't believe so.  Is there a particular reason why you'd need it locked?

Just for RP purposes.  The cells work fine as they are now, but they swing back and forth like a door into a restaurant kitchen lol.  When I saw the cells on a fiveM video, they were locked into place and therefore didn't swing.

That's most likely a fivem mod or a server specific mod.

If this could be implemented into LSPDFR it would be nice because there are a few times I would bring in a person, put them in the cell. I leave and when I get to the first door I look behind me and see that the guy is out of the cell walking to the exit.

Granted, I don't stick around long enough to look, but as I walk out I have never heard nor seen anyone following me.  I'll have to check again next time.

The only issue I see with this, what happens to the ped after you leave? Should the devs make the imprisoned ped despawn after x amount of seconds/minutes?    As I've not experienced this, I cannot accurately say what's going on, but I'd assume the ped is being released to eventually despawn in public.
