After the recent update, i just replaced everything with my backed up game content. I know now there is updated RAGE plugin , and Scripthook V for the new update, however is there a point to downloading the new GTA V Update and the new Scripthook and RAGE?. Is there any problem with just using an old version?. It seems to be working just fine, and Steam is not auto updating my GTA V on launch. My game rarely crashes and plugins dont stop working very often, i am hesitant to update the game and above mentioned plugins merely because everything is functioning fine as it is.

Dont do it, I did and regret it, its crashing at startup, even reverted back and still crashing and you can't get any support it seems now a days

I am seeing more and more people posting with issues such as yours, i am sorry to hear about that. Sounds like i am best off not updating.
