I still don't think that is the problem I have vehicles in lower patchdays than that and never had issues.  I am in the same boat as you though    im experimenting as we speak and still no luck

I wonder if there is anybody NOT having issues?

  • As with every update, you have to delete your mods folder in OpenIV. Then the game should load properly.

I have the solution ( it worked with me), open openIV, click on your mods folder, click edit and then a green note will pop up, it will say something like update your mods folder to a recent update ( it said something similar to that ) and there will be a clickable button says update mods folder.

just curious.... after you did that would your game load and play normally?  mine crashed

that message pops up when you are in edit mode and have old update rpf in there    open iv detects it, I changed that earlier but it caused my game to crash at loadup

the only thing that works for me now is starting a fresh mod folder, however, the second I try adding vehicles it crashes again.  this will take a while for me to sort out

same here, trying a fresh mod folder and also crashing on me, trying some things, let me know what works for you

ok I think I got mine figured out.  I started with a fresh mods folder and that was working fine but once I tried adding vehicles again it would crash.     DUUUHHH   I needed to change the gameconfig file to one that would except more vehicles   my old config file wouldn't work

I agree with Khalid02 I did the same thing he did and it worked just had to adjust my visual settings and reinstall EUP law and order.

Lmao your luckier than I am.   I’m sure it’s because I had a lot of add ons all over the place.   Either way after hours of trial and error I am back up and running.   Cheers boys !

This helped me, Then I had to re do various metas in the new update.rph, Luckily they were drag and drops except for one problem which was giving me a problem with rotating lights but I was able to get that fixed after various googling.

I did this and it worked! Thanks! I can load the game and play, But now my cars arnt in my trainer when I go to vehicle spawner and spawn by added vehicles there’s and list of a bunch of cars and planes and a blimp but my police6 and police7 which is what my Tahoe and crown Vic is under is not showing up in the list. When I go to openIV and go to where my cars are, they are there and I can click on them and they will show me the Tahoe and crown Vic but won’t load in game. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks in advance for the help I’m puzzled as to why they show up in openIV and not in game, it was working before the update.

This is the correct solution. If you've done this and are still having issues, one of the rpf mods you added is not compatible.  If you require more help, please make your own thread.
