Where is RAGEPluginHook destined to be extracted to? In the GTAV root directory (as per the instructions), or in the LSPD First Response directory created by the LSPDFR installer? (the instructions for installation I think are a bit inaccurate ... it refers to extracting the contents of LSPDFR into the GTAV directory, but its no longer an archive to be extracted). So considering that, not sure where RAGEPluginHook is suppossed to go.

 

I've been having incredible problems trying to get LSPDFR to work. I think installation misunderstanding may be a problem. Regardless of the combinations I try, and despite getting messages that the plugin had loaded successfully, I'm always brought to the initial vaultheist/police shootout at the beginning of the storyline in GTAV. I was under the impression if LSPDFR is enabled properly I should be able to find and suit up at an obvious police station. Do I need to complete the heist mission first?

Make sure you have the latest RAGEPluginHook from http://ragepluginhook.net/downloads.aspx?lang=en-US

RAGE should be extracted into the main GTAV directory and i don't think it matters how far you are into the story mode.

If LSPDFR and RAGE are correctly installed, you should be able to go on duty at any police station or open the RAGE control panel and type "ForceDuty"

I'm sure I have things installed properly, I do get a message that LSPDFR 0.3.1 has been successfully loaded. But I do find myself having to work through the heist again.

OK.

F4 worked to bring up the interface. I typed in "ForceDuty" and it confirmed that I was now on duty as a police officer. I even got a dispatch!

But I'm still playing the role of Mike in the heist! 😞

LSPDFR v0.3.1 (although when the message window appears in the game window confirming I'm a police officer, a bubble also pops up telling me there is a new version available. I think that may be a bug as all indications show v0.3.1 being active including in the F4 dialogue).

This is normal if you “forceduty”.   If you have the eup package setup now would be the time you change clothes into police character of your choice.   If eup is above your head at this time then in order to dress in full uniform you must walk into any of the marked police stations on your map and walk into the locker room. There will be a message to guide you through how to go on duty

Forgot to mention.  You would need to do this before you are on duty so to avoid confusion you should load a fresh game from rage book and walk into any police station marked on the map

I would recommend you start a fresh game with ragehook and then walk to any marked police station on your map.  You need to go to locker room to go on duty.  This is the way you can pick police outfits and a squad car
