Hi Ricky001, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It's a great starting point. I will continue to seek out resources to better understand while I digest those you have provided.

Installed everything I need and want and all appears to be working, exception a few conflicting key and controller bindings. But my embarrassing question is ... what now? I'm lounging in my apartment. I want to play a role of a Blaine Country Sheriff deputy. Do I have to go to a BCSO station to be one (ie the uniforms - I have EUP and EUP Menu installed - and liveries are available), and if so, where is it? I'm downtown, and I can't find my car to drive anywhere. I can take a long walk to LSPD but from there it appears I only have access to LSPD uniforms and vehicles when I go on duty. Clearly I'm missing some very fundamental understanding. And this is only the beginning. Once I am where I want to be, now what? Just wait for and respond to dispatches? Or are their ambient type infractions to watch for that aren't dispatched?

Hey A Stranger, happy you cleared my mind. So, with ENB out (I'll uninstall and start fresh I guess to ensure ENB didn't affect any files), what would be your recommendation?

First off ... my plan is to optimize my graphics with the installation of Radiance V, NaturalVision, VisualV, and ENB Series. For some reason (I can't trace back my logic) I was under the impression I needed them all. Please, correct me if that logic is flawed. The question of this post is, after having installed the latest wrapper from ENBSeries for GTAV, my LSPDFR is crashing on startup. I don't know why other than it';s related to ENB (everything worked well prior). ENB is injected no problem when I just run GTAV, so it's a problem associated with LSPDFR. I'd uninstall ENB, but I'm not sure if any of the files that were addedd with the ENB wrapper are modified files of GTAV pre ENB installation, and removing them will create new problems. Thoughts?

Thanks foryour reply ... I downloaded this mini pack, [ELS] LSPD Mini-Pack by Nomen. On the download page, it states quite clearly: "THE CHARGERS IN THIS PACK DO NOT COME WITH SKINS -- PLEASE USE THIS SKIN PACK BELOW FOR THE CHARGERS!" which I have done. I have already put the .yft and .yfd files (from the LSPD download) in the MODDING DLC, but now how to put the texture files (.png) from the charger skin pack somewhere. Not sure where to put the skin files.

As part of the process of adding NEW (addon) vehicles into the game using Albo's Modding DLC Pack, one has to modify the vehicles.meta file. One of the paramaters that should be changed is the <audioNameHash> paramater which I assume assigns a sound profile to that vehicle. What are the available options and how do they relate to the default vehicles (so I know which profile is most appropriate by comparison to add to my custom vehicle)?

Hi all, I have downloaded and installed a mini pack of vehicles using Albo's Modding DPC Pack. The vehicle pack I downloaded did not include vehicle textures, for which an additional download was required. So I have now dowloaded the vehicle's textures, but where do I put them?

The installation instructions claim that for this addon to work, that must be installed if ones version of GTAV is nor v1.0.1290.1 that a custom gamegonfig.xml file is requird. My version of GTAV v1.0.1868.0 (lastest updated). Are the Albo instructions old and that his recommended version is the miniumum required? With this newer vewrsion, do I still need a gameconfig.xml filer?

I fear this being avery basic question, and I hesitate to ask ... " To make sure everything is running properly, please start the game after installing LML. Once the game is up and running, open the Mod Manager and navigate to the Downloads view. " How do I do this with LSPDFR running. I can't seem to leave the game to launch Mod Manager unless I exit the game.

Hi Steeeven, thanks for the reply, AFter a day of failed attempts, I discovered the problem was related to my anti-virus. Disabling it seems to have done the trick.

Manually installed LSPDFR v0.4.4 and RAGE Plugin Hook - 1.69.1254.16006 according to posted instructions. All contents checkout. GTAV is a fresh install, never seen a previous LSPDFR installation. New Rockstart Games Launcher is installed. In RagePlug, LSPD First Response is checked to load on startup. Rage Plugin Hook loads up Rokstar Games Launcher and proceeds to load game. This results in "ERROR: Grand Theft Auto V exited unexpectedly.. Please click Retry below to enter the game again..." Retry launches Granhd Theft Auto V. If I exit, and retry to launch LSPDFR via the RagePlug, LSPDFR stalls on "Launching Game...". The only way I am able to execute RagePlug after failed attempts is to go into task manager and manually terminate Rockstart Games Launcher and Rockstart Games Launcher Service. RagePluginHook.log

Would anyone wish to share their experiences with LSPDFR 4 trainers? I am looking for one but am looking for the one most people find to be the better based on performance, options, reliability etc. Please share!

Hi all. This is the vehicle pack I'm wishing touse ELS with Not sure Rabbit where to find the els log. I can't seem to find an ELS.txt file in my GTAV folder. Chris, where can I get ScripthookV for ELS? Found it. Using v1.0.1604.1

Installed (I think) into my LSPDFR 0.4.1 install. Also installed Blaine County Sheriff Pack which is supposed to be ELS compatible. When I finally get LSPDFR to spark up, and I put my character into a BCSD vehicle, I can't seem to find any lovin with ELS. Part of the problem is I don't know if its installed or even installed properly. Should I see a popup messag elike the other plugins? I get no spectacular activity with my emergency lights. All I seem to be able to get is a siren and strobe taillights. No overhead lights. CTRL-P ... is supposed to bring up the ELS panel? I get the Pause menu. None of the key commands for ELS appear to do anything, but maybe I'm using them out of context. How can I go about determining if ELS is installed (properly)?

I was hoping I wouldn't be one of those that came looking for help becuase of crashing. The game that is, not me. I was (am ) so excited to play LSPDFR! But I feel I have better odds winning PowerBall that I do hitting it right to start the game. It takes me anywhere from 8 - 12 (after 12 I give up) attempts to start the game before it actually engages into the game. Most times it crashes at the black screen ("LSPDFR loading " and spinning white banshee) after the "Initializing game support" display. It's rare I get the LSPDFR has crashed message, usually its just acouple beeps and then a GTA v message ("Grand theft Auto V exitred unexpectedly ..." My anti-virus (Avast) is disabled and I have upped the plugin timeout to 60000 and still experience the crashes. I have always had the unpredictatble crashes even before I started adding plugins etc. I can usually get one plugin a day becuase I give up hitting it with a successful load. I have same behaviour even when I disable the plugins from loading. - Albo1125 Assorted Callouts - Cop Holster v3.2.0.0 - ELS v1.05 (see my next question!) - LSPDFR Computer+ v1.4.1.1 - LSPDFR+ v1.8.0.0 - Police SmartRadio 1.2.0.0 - Traffic Policer 6.15.0.0 I'd like to try and see if one of these is the culprit, but I really don't know how to "uninstall" them to ensure there are no remnents. Any thoughts? Can anyone help? Am I experiencing what others are in which I've read something about a patch in the works?
