Game Freezes If I Try To Move

Featured Replies

My game freezes to the point of force-exiting when I try to do anything. The game loads fine, I can go into settings and change things, but the second I try to move, pull a weapon, zoom on the map, or anything, the game freezes. The only way to exit is to sign out of my PC. I haven't played in over a month because of this, so nothing's changed recently. The game also isn't generating logs. This issue is completely out of the blue - I didn't add or change anything, and then it just started happening.

I have both a clean copy for multiplayer and a modded copy for LSPDFR. The issue occurs in both copies. I can assure you that there are no mods in the clean copy as I made it a completely separate install, on a second 'user' I created solely for the purpose of a clean copy.

I attempted to use the Verify command with CMD, but nothing changed.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

Do you use keyboard or controller? I've had issues with keyboard the entire time i've had the game. It gives me at least -15fps when I press/hold a key on the keyboard. If you can't or don't want to obtain a controller maybe re-install the game because that's really the only fix to this issue. Disable your mods folder if you have one by renaming it _mods & see if that's the problem. If it's not, simply move your mods folder to another location and re-install the game.

I have a controller and I have reinstalled the game twice. No effect.

That's odd. I don't know what to tell you at this point.

I also used the Verify command in CMD. That didn't change anything either.
