I have them in the mods/Update/X64/DLCPacts/Update18 and thats it.  I never had to add them before to anything other than the lastest DLC update folder.   Ever since the newest update, DLC 18 I have had this issue.  Before it I just put them in and away I went.

I would recopy the default dlc 18 folder and install the cars one at a time because from the error you're getting, one of the cars are not working properly.

OK, I will give that a try.  Should I also put them in the X64e folder as well ?

You shouldn't have to because the latest patchday takes care of that. Install them one by one and if you are using els, dont forget to go into the els folder and add the xmls listed the same name as the cars (ex. Police1, police2, etc.)

Ok thanks!  Sadly I dont use ELS..  I know I probably should but modding the cars and such is more my thing and takes up alot of time.   I have tried to install all my cars back in and for some reason if I only do all but 2 models it works but when I do the next 2 that worked right before the newest update it crashes on me.  Maybe something rockstar put in the new update ?

Dumb question but do you happen to know if there is a limit on the size file the car can be? Not so much the car but the amount of liveries it can have ?   All but 2 cars I use are Bugs and never have any issue with them but the other 2 are 4k size and I have one thats blank, a UC car and the other one is designed for Police2 and has 5 of the same but different unit and numbers per each car.

I just dont know why but it was right after the DLC18 update... Something made those 2 stop working.  Ill give those a shot in X64e and let you know.

Thanks for all your help and to others helping me out.

No problem! And liveries mainly go up to 4096x4096 in dimension. If you are looking at the polygons of a vehicle, any vehicle below 160k polygons are ideal to use in gta.

Not all liveries are the same, some go to 2048x2048. You can determine the size by the skin of course and some vehicles reluctantly come with templates.

Would you mind taking a look at the 2 cars and letting me know if you get any errors with them ?

Yeah I sure can! Send me a link and let me know which two cars aren't working right.

So I did get this to work, I just placed it in my latest patchday and if it doesn't work for you, try a different patchday

Which skin did you use for it?  I changed out the first one for LAPD and the second one is a UC which I kept, but deleted the rest.

Let me try putting it into DLC 17 which is where it worked last and see what happens.

Ok, just tried it in DLC17 and comes up with the same error but if i delete the car and install a different car it works.

Well I am not sure why but I still can't get Gump's car to work but I was able to put this in the mods folder under DLC18 with no issues.

Any ideas  ?
