Lightbar Glass Transparency Issue

When the ELS extra textures are put behind the glass of the lightbar they do not emit any light ingame, but when they are put outside of the glass they work perfectly fine. To add to this the lightbar is also not transparent ingame but in OpenIV and ZModeler it shows to be transparent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I think my issue is in relation to this but it didn't seem to help
