So I am brand new to the PC gaming community and one of the games I have always wanted to play is LSPDFR. However, I am having problems installing it correctly apparently. I watched a YouTube video by Albo1125  on how to install the mods correctly in the game folder. However, it seems after I make a copy of my GTAV folder so that I have a clean version to use online something goes wrong because after I complete putting all the files in their correct areas and use Rage Plugin Hook to run the game it starts to load but then starts downloading the game all over again from Rockstar. The clean version does the same thing after I do all of this. So while I waited for the game to download for the third time I figured I would try and figure out why it's doing this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. 

Make sure you are running the game from the folder directory you originally installed it to (if during the installer you chose something like "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V" then that is the exact directory you should be running from, or if you installed through Steam it should be the Steam directory it originally installed to).

 

Are you sure it isn't just downloading updates though? LSPDFR and RPH do not actually change any files (only add) and installing the game again wouldn't change anything.

I actually got it to work just fine. It had something to do with running it as admin. Kinda weird.
