Hey guys,

I downloaded Gta IV yesterday just for fun and thought i might aswell just play around with lcpdfr and gta 4 in general. I installed lcpdfr played worked fine, then decided to download Double Doppler's Mersey side Police Pack and his ENB pack, for these mods to work i also had to download els. So i did all that and started playing and it crashed, I thought nothing of it, quick crash heard that's ''regular'' so i started it again. Every 5-10min the game crashes, I've tried deleting AdvancedHookInit.asi and other ideas to ''solve'' it i saw online.

 

Weirdly enough every time it crashes lcpdfr error report says not to report it because its not and lcpdfr crash, but the vanilla game works without crashing.

I have no idea anymore can someone help me please? Thanks in advance

When you download car packs never put them in game all together, install car only by one! start the game, drive with new car, if game not crash, then install next car.

ELS crashes mybe because in ELS.ini file your settings are:
Ai_Els_Sp = on
Ai_Els_Mp = on

 

But you need turn that off like this:

Ai_Els_Sp = off
Ai_Els_Mp = off

 

Modded cars + ENB + ELS is most common combination why game crashes.. try to play without ENB, with something simple, like this one:

 

Important tip: if you install fresh GTAIV game, copy ALL game and paste in different folder for BACKUPS

I've made back up files aswell 1 vanilla 1 lcpdfr 1 modded lcpdfr

Thanks for the help though I'll probs just reinstall it tho start from scratch.

I've also now for the first time got an error code aswell; (sry its in german)

Right ok quick update,

so i I followed your steps and downloaded your mod and it worked I'm not getting any crashes(so far so good) and the game still looks good. Thanky you so much dude you're a lifesaver.

I only have 1 more question when i press ALT + T to get the taser out it spawns the chopper, I'm guessing due to my simple native trainer. Do you know how to fix/change the controls to stop this from happening?

I don't know which lcpdfr version you are using, but you don't need press Alt, just press T two times and you get the taser

Yeah, and you need to check trainer file, I don't know how to explain but what I do is go to
////KEY BINDINGS SECTION//// and delete all keys and numbers which are working as car spawners... I don't know where was Alt + T but mybe you can find in this key bindings section
For example mine section is looking like this:

Yeah again thanks alot figured out the taser but stuff like ALT + E and stuff spawns cars but with what uve said I'll change it, again thanks alot :)

Dunno what al the Spawn2Key1 or wahtever but I'll just copy yours and mess aroun abit if it still doesnt work ;)
