Live PD - Anyone watch?

Featured Replies

Just recently started watching and am enjoying the series, seems to be a modern day Cops. Although i am seeing way too much use of fake sirens during many episodes thus far. Does anyone else notice this and does it drive them crazy?. Anyone got any particular episodes to recommend?. I like the unexpected nature of the show however i feel like an OIS would not been shown live and would just be edited out. Regardless it's still a rather entertaining program. Anyone got any other Law Enforcement shows worth watching other than The First 48?.

Very good show, the earlier season was better in my opinion...A&E on youtube lets you cut out the boring stuff and shows clips of the good stuff. A show I enjoy is southlands!

Good call on Southlands, i completely forgot about that but unfortunately watched it all some years ago. Great series however, i am noticing now on Youtube clips of Live PD that the edited in sirens are noticed by others and driving them crazy too!, lol. Good to know.

Yea, the edited siren is highly noticeable on youtube due to one officer responding without lights nor sirens and they had sirens going off haha but rather than that its still a decent show for anyone who is interested in law enforcement. Also check out Miami PD vlogs on youtube very very cool series on different aspects of their pd and showcasing their swat team and k-9 units.

I watch it, I like it better than cops most of the time. The fake sirens are annoying, but a very  good show I like the exciting parts. I just don't like it when they leave a certain area when it gets "too graphic" or "sensitive".

Yeah, i have yet to see anything THAT crazy. There was one incident where a guy flipped his vehicle after a chase and yanked his barely conscious daughter from the back seat and attempted to run with her in his arms. Batsh!t crazy stuff. But like you said i feel like when it comes to the shooting it will be cut and all that. I'm fine granted you can go on Liveleak and in some months you can see the incident for yourself. All in all fatal shooting cencorship would be appropriate i guess, someone losing their life on air should not deem as entertaining for the show and it would make sense to make some cuts. But at the same time obviously we want to see real call outcomes and scenarios as they occur, " live " one might say. Lol

That guy was a piece of shit, using his child as a meat shield. After, acting like the police were abusing him like he was an innocent victim. A crowd of people came in filming like a bunch of idiots.

Yeah i remember that too, funny how a cell phone video of the last 1/4 of an incident can make the Officer Look. Just what the Public wants to see and nothing else. Rather pathetic. Speaking of which the other night i think i caught a series first in the episode i was watching. A shots fired call actually resulted in a double Homicide discovery.

Que the first 48 theme huh?.

I did see that live, it was a crazy episode. Some are more action packed than others, I like ones like this. What officers/department do you like the best?

No offence to Richland, but that place is a sh!thole, armed robberies constantly. Wakulla county, remember that trailer trash one from Florida?

Yeah my god i live in deep upstate NY but have family in South Carolina and Florida and it's still amazing to me how far gone some of these rank looking sketchy POS's are in some of those rural trailer park communities.

That show was good when Arizona DPS was on there. They always had the most interesting calls.

Yeah, I loved Arizona DPS on LivePD. They had tons of pursuits, knife calls on the highway, stolen vehicles, and more excitement.

The incident me and SpikeTerm were referring to on Live PD.
