While looking through the download section, I've noticed more than once that the authors in the "popular authors" section have terribly low ratings, which is completely inaccurate based on the ratings of each of their files. Occasionally, the correct ratings show and different mod authors show up on top, but most of the time the rankings look way off. At first I thought that maybe it was because each mod author has mods that don't have reviews/have them disabled (DEV models), but ErinLindsay has more unreviewed files than reviewed files and she has five full stars. Quite frankly, I'm not sure why she is even up there, because she hasn't released a mod in three and a half years. Just as another example, OfficerFive0 doesn't have a single reviewed file with less than 3 stars, but his rating on the "popular authors" tab displays less than half a star. I looked through the issue tracking thread and saw that statistics may take a little while to load, is that what's happening here?

 

Attached below is a picture of the ratings that I see. The one with low ratings (top) is what I see most often, and the one with higher ratings (bottom) is what I only occasionally see.

I believe cyan has said this is a caching error. That particular list is pulling the averages from the Resources & Assets category only. Ratings are disabled entirely in the Vehicles & Parts and Lightbars section, but are enabled in the Tools section. This is causing the average rating to be extremely low for that category.
