The LAPD SWAT trucks in the 1980s and early 1990s were Cadillac Gage (Ranger & Commando V1000). Unfortunately we don’t have any DEV model, but anyway I can think about tweaking the APC tank to get the Cadillac Gage Commando V1000.

 

I was also thinking if you could add LAPD Bikes as well (Not sure if they used any bike in 1980-90 and if they did, I am sure the lights would be a rotating light.). That would be a good idea :)

UPDATE: 1980s LAPD cars now feature accurate equipment, including FS Unitrol 480K console, UHF Motorola MX-350 radio and Digicom MDT-800 computer.
