OK so I just installed LCPDFR v0.91 using the automatic installer. When I first installed it and tried loading up GTA IV, i got an error message saying some dll was missing. I did some research and installed the C++ and .net 4 thing. But now, as soon as I open GTA, it just says "Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working..." GTA works fine without the LCPDFR. Please help!!! :ohmy:

I ran it and everything has a check mark next to it except for the ASI Loader. It says I don't have an ASI Loader. Do I need one to play LCPDFR? and if I do where can I get it?

Can you post a picture of your GTA IV folder? Also, there are two asiloaders shipped in the LCPDFR 0.91 Automatic Installer (dsound.dll and xlive) . Use one of them, but not both.

You're using a crack for GTA IV ain't you? "1911.dll" is part of a crack. Have you pirated the game?

Yes I had to use a crack because I lost my product key. But no I didn't pirate the game.

Ok. I just tried it and GTA IV closes as soon as it finishes loading. I ran the diagnostic tool again and this is what it came up with (there was a check mark next to each item):

Try running the game as an admin?

:verymad: It still crashes to the desktop - no matter which loader I use it crashes. Running as Admin also didn't work.

The crack could be the problem.

Urghh...I just tried it without the crack. GTA IV loads perfectly fine without the crack but the mod won't start. I tried to press ALT+P multiple times but it never works.

i have the same problem from installing from the disk. this is the most complicated mod i have ever tried to install. when i install gta4 from the disk it works fine. soon as i download 0.91 NOTHING works. i have done everything these posts ask you to do and nothing works. why is this mod so complicated?

IDK why this mod is so complicated. I have installed plenty of other mods that worked perfectly fine but then as soon as I install 0.91 it screws up. I am currently installing an older version (0.90E) and I'll let you know whether or not it works!
