Screenshots Come Out Black

Featured Replies

Whenever I attempt to screenshot GTA V, they come out solid black. The only thing that shows up (if anything at all) are the two boxes where they say who's online and that you've signed into Rockstar Social Club. I have the retail version (NOT Steam), so I cannot test to see if it's an issue with the game or Windows' screenshot command.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

Well with Windows Screenshots, the game can't be in full screen, so that's most likely why you're getting the solid black screenshots..  You could always use Nvidia Shadowplay, or AMD's ReLive to take screenshots.

Not sure why that is. I've screenshotted other full-screen games in the past before (such as No More Room in Hell and Age of Empires) and had no issues
