How to turn off specific ELS lights?

Featured Replies

I want to turn off the reverse light strobes on some of my cars since they are blinding at night, also would it be possible to change the "cruise" light.

I'm not sure if these are model specific questions or something I can change in an ELS file.

When you say reverse strobes, do you mean the tail lights? or all rear facing lights?

Like the white lights that go on when you reverse.

Ahhh!

Open the ELS VCF for the car, and under ACORONAS, look for "Reverse lights".  Set that value to 0

Oh cool thanks!

Can you also set the default strobe patterns there? and/or change the color of the cruise light(the "[" key light)

You can change the default patterns in the VCF, but you'd need to edit the actual light texture in the .YTD to change the color of the emergency lights.

I take it each .ytdfile is different. I couldn't find a texture that would be those lights.

Just look in each texture for red and blue lights.  I'm not sure which one is what you're looking for, but it's a start.  Where there's red and blue lights is where part of the light texture is.
