if that's how it looks in openiv and what you're describing mens that the lightbar isn't els enabled. It uses coronas meaning it's non els.

Can i see your hierarchy and your materials browser.

It should be mapped to Val_lightsemis

The Extras on the top are the red/blues in the front and amber in rear and Extra5 is all white

Move the  Val_lightemissive in front of the val_vehglass. That should fix it. Always make sure your lightsemissive is above any vehglass, whether in material browser or hierarchy.

ok I'll try that other question, how do you get the file that you put into the ELS folder?

The file comes with the els installation. just copy the POLICE.xml file and name it to whatever slot you put your vehicle in and then just edit the file to your preference.

ok so lights light up now but the mounts are still flashing looks like this. also its flashing all white then all red blue at same time

I can send you the file if youd be willing to take a look

mounts appear and disappear when lights are turned on

I'm afraid i don't see what you're talking about with the mounts. As far as the light pattern goes you have to pull up the els console and scroll through the lighting patterns until you find what you like and then copy down pattern numbers stage 1,2, and 3. Then go into your xml file input those numbers in so whenever you activate your lighting it'll use your selected patterns.

When the lights flash they will stick out the side of the car in the circles and then disappear and reappear with the flash of the lights and what i was saying with the light patterns is that it isnt following what els is doing

Attach the mounts to the lightbar base and the lights/extras need to be compounded. They are working without dummies which may be the cause for the noe els flashing.

Frontlights red/blue and white are set to what I circled

for some reason the red and blues come on when the car starts (see last pic)

Why haven't you compounded the lights?

How do I do that? Extra1 is front red extra2 is front blue, extra 3 & 4 is the amber rear half half and extra 5 is all white front

I might be mistaken but I thought each led or small group of LEDs was supposed to be an extra on its own

Im not sure, It came all as one in the model

oh I didn't see that part sorry but I got that idea from if you go into a game with a premade els car and turn on extras it will blink like one or two LEDs

Im using a remade els lightbar on an els caprice I havent made a specific ELS File for the model, using one from a diffrent police car maybe thats the problem? but it also had a valor lightbar

You're gonna have to attach the lights together that have the same name like all extra1, extra2 and so on. If there are extras in a hierarchy with the same name it will cause one of those extras to steady burn. or turn on and off whenever the vehicle is started.
