I went after a GTA where there were two people in the car. I stopped them and started to run after one of them.
Shortly after I realized that I didn't have a clue on what to do when I caught up to them.

I was reading the keybinds for the mod on this guide...

But they did not work. My character did nothing when I pressed E while aiming at them with a stun gun and nothing showed up while near the person I was chasing in the interaction menu.
I couldn't do anything to the person. Am I supposed to kill them? I tried tazing them but I still couldn't do anything that I know of

You have to HOLD the E key down while facing them or chasing them, and you should see a blue or red bar on the lower right of the screen slowly filling saying something like "stopping suspect". Hold the key down until this complete, you will then see options in the upper left of the screen to speak to suspects. You can't just press/tap the E key..hold it down until the bar completes.

This does not happen at all.

 

I hate this forum framework where you can't edit your post after 5 minutes or change the topic name, because now I need to change it to "Arresting broken"

I've even tried downloading a bunch of LSPDFR addons to see if they can help, no cigar

 

Is there a place that these keybinds are defined? I could check there to see if it got put as something else by mistake

 

This was happening before I installed plugins.

I've also noticed that Computer+ does work, and it uses E as well while in a vehicle. So it looks like it is an LSPDFR problem.

Many keybindings are set in the individual .ini files if included with each plugin. There are definitely some that will conflict, but I don't think I've ever run across one that conflicts with E on foot, as most developers would not do that because it directly interferes with LSPDFR basic.

Have you tried aiming a weapon at them and holding E?  It's a known bug in LSPDFR where just facing them and holding E breaks.
