is it illegal for me to have a profile picture which is exactly the same as the Staff team profile pictures.

 

Although I am not impersonating staff in any shape or form, I put a piece of text in small print which states "Not an LCPDFR.com moderator"

 

I'm questioning this, because I actually think it would be breaking the rules since it makes me look like a moderator.

If ordered to change it, I will. I have no problem with that.

I hired a friend of mine, who is a professional digital artist to make a template similar to the one you guys use, in case you're wondering how I obtained such template.

While not actively against the rules it could end up tricking some newer users. What I suggest is to change the colour from authoritative pink^tm  to blue or something similar.

When I can, I will take your suggestion into full consideration and will get to work on it.

Personally, I wouldn't use it on here primarily for the staff impersonation aspect, even if you aren't actively trying to.  However, if you really want to use it, like Illusionyary said, I'd change the color to something far away from authoritative pink.
