Script hook V Crashing game

Featured Replies

When ever i add the file "ScriptHookV.dll" and try to load Rage plugin it just crashes my game as it says "Waiting for game window" then after 20 or so seconds of saying that it crashes and comes up with the Gta V launcher saying it crashed , i only have a few mods like ELS And 2 or 3 car mods that i've used before so i don't think anything is clashing with it, As soon as i delete that folder it works again, I can even use the dinput8.dll folder that comes with script hook V just not "ScriptHookV.dll"

I'm having the same issue and after looking through the forums here, it seems like it's a widespread issue at the moment. My assumption is that we will need to just wait until an update for scripthook is released, unfortunately.

I am having issues with ScripthookV crashing but ultimately it doesn't affect GTAV or LSPDFR.  It just means that I cannot utilize TrainerV as a result of ScripthookV crashing.

I did realize that my Simple Trainer (trainerv.asi) was old.  I updated to the new version just now, I will see if that has any affect on ScriptHookV crashing.  It didn't crash all of the time before, though, and only crashed upon loading of the game.

I find Simple Trainer superior to the Native Trainer that comes bundled with ScriptHookV.
