So I've had this problem for a while and cannot for the life of me figure out why I keep running into this issue. When accepting call outs or using the smart radio the game will crash with the error show in the picture. I've used multiple vehicles and packs but still get the same error. I've changed peds as well and am currently using the vanilla peds for the game. Has anyone else had this issue and might be able to offer some help? 

In this particular crash, one of the vehicles you have selected to use for the Traffic Stop Backup plugin is not working correctly. If you have not made changes to the vehicle selection in TrafficStopBackup.ini or LSPDFR\backup.xml, this strongly suggests that one of the vehicles in the default police slots is not installed correctly.

Perhaps you could try using the RPH console (F4) to spawn your custom vehicles in turn to see if the problem occurs after trying to spawn a particular vehicle.

 

For example:

 

spawn POLICE

 

So instead of using the trainer to spawn my police vehicle that I will use on patrol, use the RPH console correct? And then edit the ini file to see if that corrects the problem as well? 

@PeterU was suggesting that one of your vehicles is not installed properly thus causing you the error. When you are in game open up the rage console and start trying to spawn in all your vehicles. If the console tells you it is unable to spawn a certain vehicle that is most likely the one that is causing you the issues. Note when it fails to spawn it should give you the same type of error as seen in your rage console lo "invalid model with hash..."

 

The other possible solution is that if you have made changes to either TrafficStopBackup.ini or LSPDFR\backup.xml one of the vehichles names has been mistyped. So I would go through the file and make sure there are no typos.

Ahhhhh i see.. Thank you for clearing that up. I'll. Give that a shot and see what happens.. As far as editing the ini files yourself and peterU suggested, I haven't made any changes to them but I'll have a look and make sure.. 

Ok so ive gone in game and spawned all the vehicles with no issue using the RPH console. Im now looking at the Backup.xml file and theres alot of extra stuff in the file that im not sure belongs in the file such as file names:

Not familiar with NYSP vehichles I have never seen that in the backup game file before. However lssheriff is included in the addon pack Realism Dispatch Enhanced. Have you ever installed this modification or currently have in installed?

Yes I do use the realism dispatch enhanced plugin.

Yeah hwaycar and lssheriff are created by Realism Dispatch Enhanced so they should all be there.

 

When you are replacing cars in your game are you doing it in the Realism Dispatch Enhanced directory or the default one?

I dont think i follow your question entirely. When i replace any of my vehicles, i use OpenIv and thats it. Go in game and use whichever vehicle i choose for patrol

Ive never messed with the Backup.xml file or the realism dispatch file. so anytime i call for backup using the smartradio or use the felony stop plugin i get a crash. Also the game will crash with certain callouts with a error similar to the pic i posted.

Okay you said you installed Realism Dispatched Enhanced, I suggest you first attempt at re-installing RDE and see if that has any effect.

 

As for what I was saying earlier, when you install modded vehicles into your game under what directory do you do so? Are you installing them where Realism Dispatch Enhanced is located or are you placing them in the regular vanilla location?

 

For instance the regular vanilla location is usually x64e.rpf > levels > gta5 > vehichles.rpf

 

However if you have RDE installed you should be adding vehichles to the RDE directories which are located under update.rpf > x64 > rde > rdevehichles.rpf

Ok i apologize, i do NOT have RDE installed. I was confusing that mod with another mod. Upon install of new vehicles i use the vanilla location. 

Alright are you using custom backup by any chance? For some reason it seems you have RDE units in your backup file when you should only have default units. The screenshot you posted above has your game attempting to create a state patrol unit but since you do not have RDE installed it can not locate the car.

The only backup mod im using is the traffic stop backup mod. the ini file doesnt look anything like the backup.xml file. its pretty basic. 

Alright I would try re-installing LSPDFR it should overwrite your backup.xml with the default one hopefully solving your issues.

 

If that still does not work please post your backup.xml file here in a spoiler.

Your recent log screenshot below shows that after calling for StatePatrol, RPH was unable to load a car model, suggesting that at least one of the problems is that one of the state patrol vehicle models specified in backup.xml isn't actually installed in your game.
