Stuck on the loading screen

Featured Replies

On the screen in the right corner it says loading story mode and the circle is spinning and in the middle it says" loading lspdr" . i was stuck in the loading screen for like 15 mins, then decided to press f4 and appernetly the console shows up. after i typed something in the game froze but i didnt get a crash report somehow.

How ever I reinstalled gta 5 and downloaded lspdfr and rph again but unfortunately its still not working. any solutions?

nvm

basically reinstalled the game. i would recommend the same for u, just uninstall gta5 and install it new then, but before u install it new, make sure to delete all  the files in the old gta5 folder which are left. to find ur gta5 folder location juts right click on gta 5 in your steam library and go to Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files, then make sure the folder is empty. now reinstall gat 5 again.

after that just install lspddr again and drag and drop the newest ragepluginhook version into the folder.

then everything should work again

Just so you know for the future, this is a social club issue.  I'm not sure what happened, but if you open the commandline.txt that is in your GTA V directory, you can add in -scOfflineOnly and save.  Then it'll load.

Do note, however, if you start up via the normal GTA 5 exe, you might not get the UI that initially comes up to select story mode, online, etc.  It will immediately start loading story mode.

That only needs done once, after GTA updates.  The reason is because the game updates the vanilla update.rpf, not the one within the mods folder.

Regarding the infinite loading, social club was fucking up for me as well and giving me infinite loading.  Tried what I said on a whim and it worked.
