Hello,

 

My son's been having this issue for a long while now, and I'm unable to figure it out.  I've look through a lot of posts and nothing has worked for us.

 

All the needed files are up-to-date.

 

Rage crashes at launch with the following error: GTAVLauncher.exe exited unexpectedly.

 

There is no Rage log file created.  Below is the Rockstar launch log.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, please help us to help you by providing more information on:

• GTAV version
• RPH version
• installed mods
• installed script
• do you use OpenIV (mods folder)?
• do you use scripthookVdotNet?

Have you tried to run only GTAV directly (with no RPH and mods)?

 

If you cannot even run GTAV, that means you have a bad installation. try to verify and fix the installation :

go to steam game properties --> local files --> verify integrity of game files

GTAV ver is 1.0.1290.1- installed thru steam.

Ragehook ver is 60_1201_14419 - the latest.

No installed scripts.

No installed mods.

No open IV

scripthookVdoNet is in the directory.  

 

We can run GTAV for no RPH no issue.  We can also run it find with Scripthook installed.  We are also able to run it with other mods no problem.

 

We tried installing lcpdfr on a clean install, still same issue.

Try to:

• Right click on your "GTA5.exe" file
• Click Properties, then go to  "Compatibility"
• Uncheck "Run this program as administrator".
• Do the same thing on "GTAVLauncher.exe" file
