Sirens not turning on with "E" key

As stated, when I install a vehicle the sirens will not turn on by pressing E. Instead, to turn the on you have to hold the R key the whole time. Pressing E simply just applies the horn. Alternatively, pressing J turns on the lights still, but no sirens. I have installed the vehicles correctly a few times over to make sure it is indeed correct. Not sure if something can be done in settings, which I am not sure how to access for the sirens and vehicle.

    Are you using ELS? By defualt ELS toggles sirens with the G,1,2,3,4, and 5 keys. I am curious as why you would want the E key to activate sirens considering it already is used for the police computer.

    Assuming you are using ELS, which is what it sounds like, you cannot change the keybindings.  You have to use J for the lights and G or 1,2,3,4,5 for sirens.
