Is it normal that the siren has to come on every time you go to stage 3 lighting to initiate a pull over? Even worse is that when I shut it off, do my traffic stop and get back in, the siren comes right back on. The only way I've found to fix this is by hitting the G key to toggle the siren sound key every time I turn off my siren. It's quite frustrating. I'd much have full control over my sirens with the number keys, which works fine.

Again, this is conflicts with ELS/SM.  I just use ELS and my siren only turns on when pressing the siren toggle.  You're going to need to rearrange some of your SM keybinds if this happening.

In your vcf’s; what have you set the tursirenon to. Lightstage3

Im thinking about the line which is in the upper part of the vcf.

Are you referring to LstgActivationType?  or DefaultSirenMode?  If you mean the latter, it's on standby.  That's one thing I have never edited nor do I know how.

What does <DefaultSirenMode>standby</DefaultSirenMode> do? Maybe its related to @GunnDawg 's problem.

I actually son't know if the first one works, I've never tried it.  I just set it to 2, so we'll see if my sirens actually activate then or not.

 

After you pointed defautsirenmode out I looked it up.  There are two options, standby and hands free, I'm not sure how you add in the 'hands free' part.  Hands free means when you turn on the lights the sirens come on automatically, basically how vanilla GTA does it.
