Reducing The Amount of People who Flee on calls

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere, I just haven't been able to find it. I'm trying to reduce the amount of times that suspects flee from me on calls/traffic stops. I played for about 45 minutes this afternoon and had every single call/traffic stop take off on me. It's honestly quite annoying. I don't have many mods. The ones I have are:

  • LSPDFR (obviously)
  • Arrest Manager (which shouldn't have anything to do with it)
  • Police Smart Radio (again shouldn't have anything to do with it)
  • Assorted Callouts
  • Traffic Policer

And other than that, just ELS and some vehicles and a trainer. I've looked in the files for all of these and, unless I'm looking in the wrong places, have been unable to find anything that would allow me to reduce the number of pursuits/takeoffs. All I've been able to do is reduce the likelihood of actually getting a callout for a pursuit.

If anyone knows where I could reduce this in any of the files or perhaps another mod that reduces it, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew Patterson

Youre not honking your horn or manually hitting your siren cause sometimes that will make the cars drive off like crazy

Okay I'm going to answer your question to the Broadest view. I never had that issue most Traffic stops for me the suspect stops accept tickets and keep on moving .  When i do i normally first target the vehicle Im going to pullover then Activate my sirens  then use the traffic police custom set waypoint command to pull them out of the traffic and conduct my Traffic stop.  Now again i know many things happens in the open world event and may trigger  the Random peds and vehicles to run away so i use Keep calm mod  Link  below. I only set it where vehicle around me wouldntgo Crazy  on if shots are fired or heard in great distance but the Peds will still run around and that is fine :).. That will help control the ingame AI Actions as well! i was pretty amaze what also it help out with!...  Second also make sure everything is fully updated. Issues do happen when a mod that is outdated but able to play! :)  so use the lspdfr troubleshoot problem as well makes life easy! :)

Links below for you to checkout, this might fix your issue Again KEYWORD MIGHT  but worth to check out :) IF all this fails!  Reinstall everything and and see what happens! Btw there so much mods to add that will make the entire game another game lol So many callouts to add that will take your patrol and Detective work to another level :) remember installed at a time and play for at least 30 mins to make sure you don't crash.

PS:  If Everything i said don't work the people in your world  must be scared of all the cops then.. time to become a medic lol jk bro little humor happy holidays bro ! :)

Haha thanks bro. I appriciate the links. I will definatly check both of these out. I'm fairly new to LSPDFR however I've been playing LCPDFR going on 4 years now and it really is incredible how far we have come. I am slowly teaching myself (with the help of youtube and kind folks like yourself) and trying to learn and discover as much as I can. I have heard of the Keep Calm mod, but haven't tried it yet. So I will definatly give both of those a try. I'm also about to explorer new Callout Scripts. What's your favorite (just cause I'm curious lol)?

And btw I'm a FF for real life and dispatch for my local Fire/EMS agency ;)
