LAPD / LASD / CHP Forza CVPI

Featured Replies

Anyone working on non-ELS LAPD / LASD / CHP Forza Crown Victorias?

I've seen the ELS LSPD Sedan Pack which has a crown vic I really like, but it's ELS and I'd rather just stick to non ELS for now.

Pricefield told me it wouldn't take too much time for him to convert it to non-ELS, but when I asked if he's working on it, he hasn't responded. So I was wondering if anyone is working on such car.

Though not the Forza model

These are the two best replications you can find anywhere. Both Non-ELS. The Forza model is very high poly and has a few inconsistencies with UV mapping and such. This is the most optimized model we'll have until Cj24 is done with his CVPI.

Thanks unfortunately I already know of these, but I'm really looking for the Forza models, because of the lights and the detail.

I'm quite satisfied with BxBugs123's LASD CVPI (after I changed all the pony textures lol), but I can't really find an LAPD car that suits my taste.

It's not that I don't like it, but the default lights in GTA V can represent the light patterns realistically (although I do miss the steady burns only from LAPD and LASD cars and the CHP park mode), and also I believe the best model for GTA V right now is the LAPD utility by Desmond98, and that one is non-els as well.

Also I'm not sure, was the door bug (or car constantly fixing itself bug) fixed?

I also had a lots ELS related crashes in IV, so not sure how stable it is in V.

concerning stability, i dont think ive ever had a crash due to els. a couple time it wouldn't work( lights would be frozen and such) but a restart fixed that. and yes, the door bug was fixed before els was released to the public

els is much more stable and it doesn't have the door bug, cars will move out of the way when you hit the horn like in real life, people also don't try to steal your car...you should just give it a try if you don't like it then you can uninstall but I promise you once you use els you wont want to go back

Nobody uses this because it causes peds to drive in a straight line into walls, off the road, over mountains/cliffs, messes up traffic stops, and just generally causes chaos because it's buggy as fuck and will probably never be fixed.

I don't think its that buggy but when you are going code 3 through traffic it really helps, only time I see cars doing that with the horn is if I am in a pursuit
