How do I import .wav files into an .oac format?

Featured Replies

Quite a noob question here.

I am trying to change out the sirens in GravelRoadCop's Modern Siren Pack. I have the "vehicles" folder with the new sirens in it, with the folder size at 15.5mb so it won't mute the sounds, however I can't figure out how to put those files into an .oac format so I can import it into OpenIV. All of the "amazingly helpful" tutorials I've seen already have the files in an .oac format, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Restating what I said above,

How do I put all of the audio files within my "vehicles" folder into an .oac file to import it into OpenIV?

Thanks!

.

It's very simple.  Go to your \mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf\ and right click your vehicles -export to .oac and select a new folder. Than in that folder just replace the .wav files and when you are done. Go back to that location in the mods folder and click import and select that vehicles.oac file that you just exported.

Here is a video on how  to do it if your confused

I did everything you did within this video, and yet every time I open FiveM I end up getting a crash error. It says its because the encryption type on the rpf file is set open. Do you have any fixes for this issue?
