Help with texture livery in car

Featured Replies

Can some explain how do fix with added skin on cvpi looks distorted.  More like out of place. 1) Do cvpi texture work on all texture? 2) what are the best car models to add texture? 3.)is there a way to resize or adjust to fit on cvpi texture?

Hi. I believe almost all models have their own unique template. You have to find the correct skin for the model you want to use.

Or you can get the template for that model, and alter the skin so it fits the template.

That can be done with for example gimp or photoshop.

Make sure the texture is for the same year CVPI.  For example, if your CVPI is 2011, make sure the texture is for 2011.  As long as the year is the same, one CVPI texture will work on all other CVPIs.  There isn't really a best, though CVPI seems to be quite favorable with textures.  The only way to resize textures is to edit them yourself.

They do, but 99% of all CVPI textures will work on other CVPIs if the years are the same.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

WHAT??!!!! no, no, no, no and no.

1 the year doesnt matter for cvpis. as long as its 98-11 the year wont make a difference at all. most cvpis are using the dsf template, however you have bug's cvpi which uses an entirely different template. and now the forza vic is being used, which uses a dsf based template. so it doesnt matter what year the cvpi is, all that matter is which template did the modeler use

I stand partially corrected, but I'm still right about CVPI textures almost always fitting every other CVPI .:P
