I have installed both the ini and the dlb or dnl something like that file and i have put them into my gta/plugins/lspdfr and i have tried installing them to my gta/plugins but still no luck

Please go back to the Realistic Speed Radar download page and read the install instructions.

You need to have scripthook installed for it to work,  http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

At the moment, Scripthook is not updated so any mods that require scripthook will not work until the developer updates scripthook.

This is correct, but not the full problem.  Alex was installing it incorrectly.

Just to clarify, there are about 3/4 different Speed Radar's around, please link the one you are trying to install to avoid confusion.

that is the one Kallus was right i may of been installing incorrectly sorry guys i was on vacation and i have the correct script hook

Please read the download page for Realistic Speed Radar, it says it right under "installation". 

 

I mean this in the nicest way, but you really need to read the mod pages and the readmes when downloading mods.  More often than not they will tell you how to install something. :)

thats true and i do but sometimes they dont include in the mod and the funny thing is i could never find where the installation instructions where on that page id guess they were hidden lol well i officially got it going
