I am not able to use lights and sirens when playing the game unless i use a vehilce that was already with the game prior. if you are using the added vehicles you added  can you please let me know how you are playing? do i have to delete the scripthookv from the gta main directory?

You don't need ScriptHookV to play the game, you only need it for mods like ELS.  Those of us who are still able to use ELS are using our game backups.  ELS is not usable right now because ScriptHookV isn't updated.  It will be updated at some point soon.  You can either delete or keep ScriptHookV, but you'll be replacing the one you have at some point anyway.

i have the older version still of gta but its not supported by the new rage ? so how do i go about reverting the rage back to an older version or should i just suck it up and use the original police vehicles because i jumped the gun and didnt know

No, it's not supported.  If you're on the latest Rage, then it'll only support the latest GTA and latest ScriptHookV.  If you're on an older version of GTA, only the version of Rage and ScriptHook that came out for that version will work on it.  Unfortunately, if you didn't back up your game or your Rage version prior, your only option now is just to update everything.

I did back them up but i think to be on the safe side since im not that familiar with everything ill just play with the original cars for now lol. i know if i start messing with this ill end up messing something up so ill just keep hoping this script gets updated soon.

You said you're on an older version of GTA, though, right?  ScriptHookV won't work on an older version of GTA.

Negative I have the new version installed of gta. But the rage I can't get the old version back so I'm stuck waiting on the script
