I installed the new RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.57.1152.13084 and now my game loads and goes though the actions of loading but that is all it does it is stuck in that GTA V / Ragepluginhook loading screen... Does anyone else have this issue and or know how to fix it?

Did you also update the update.rpf in your mods folder?

Not that I know of... All I did was export the new ragehook files in to my gta 5 folder... where do I find the download for the update.rpf?

You need to delete the update.rpf in the mods folder, and copy over the vanilla update.rpf like you did the first time when you made the mods folder.

So... to be honest im not sure how I did it the first time >.< I had soooo many tutorials and mod instructions  up at the time... but now it says I can not open a ''rpf'' file... and thats the one I think I need... sorry my noob sines bright right now >.<

Yes, in OpenIV go into mods-->update.  Delete the update.rpf folder within.

 

Next, go back to the main directory in OpenIV and go into your vanilla update folder.  Right click the update.rpf and it should  say "copy to mods folder".  You can also just click "edit mode" while in the vanilla update folder and it should prompt you to create this path in the mods folder. :)

Its WORKING!!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The few mods I did put in ''such as police cars and Simple trainer'' are broken and some what scary  But at least I have a game again! Again thank you so much! I could not have done it with out you

You're most welcome!  Police car mods should work fine, though.  This recent update brought a brand new patchday with new vehicles, so all modded vehicles will need to be moved to the latest patchday with a vehicles.rpf to work. :)

Oh ok I will look in to it... The one I have now are the ones I installed when I was still trying to install els car packs... but I had copied over them with a non els pack that worked lol... but again thanks to you I have a gave I can figure that all out with :)

Well I made a backup..... and now its not working again >.< Any ideas? Sorry to bother you yet again >.<

I went and ''Verified integrity of cache'' of the backup I had made (after I ran the game and made sure it was working) and it said it was missing 1 file and will ''reacquire'' ?

Sorry for slow reply, was in game.  What did you make a backup of, exactly?

I did what the pop the RHP pop up told me ''To open RHP and hold shift till advanced settings then click make back up''

The simple act of making a back up shouldn't ruin your game.  What exactly is happening?  What if you launch Rage as admin?

I do not know if this helps but I tried running GTA V with out RHP just the story mode it self... And it still crashes says ''GTA V has stopped working''

 

And now this morning it also said ''running first time setup''? idk way I keep having weird issues >.<

 

I have Validated all the files and have checked all the game files, RHP files, scripthook and anything else I can think of... >.< I have attached a a crash report to see if a more experienced eye can find my issue >.<

That crash report cannot be read.  In your main directory is RagePluginHook.log. Please attach this.

In your main directory should be a RagePluginHook backup file, temporarily move this onto your desktop and try again.

I took out this file (Hope it was the right one)''GameBackups.rph'' But it still crashed

Not sure what else I can do? I have tried everything.... Should I start all over from scratch?
