Police vehicle files location?

Featured Replies

Can someone please tell me where the police vehicles are located? I've been looking through the patchday folders, but I can't seem to find the vehicles I need to replace. This is the models I'm trying to install:

Oh, I thought I had to replace the original files like back in GTA IV - but thanks, I'll give it a try :)

I see. I'm sure you will succeed! GTA v is pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it :)

Hi. Just put them in patchday10 as suggested in the instructions and you will be fine.

I don't know where they are located btw.

Patchday10 will no longer work. :)  It has to be the very latest patchday.

Yea, well I was just about to comment that it didn't work for me haha :D So just to be completely sure here, I need to place the files in pactday15ng right?

Are you using a mods folder?

Yes, and if I open the files within OpenIV they show the correct modded model, just not in-game

My mods folder includes "update" and "x64", and to install the models I entered x64. I don't know if I messed up the folder somehow, since I just noticed that on the download page of the model it says "Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday10ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

Could that be the issue?

Do me a favor and go to where you have the vehicles installed in OpenIV.  Take a screenshot of OpenIV, please.

The path you used is incorrect.    mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks is the path you want. :)

I knew I screwed something up! Thanks a lot man, hopefully I'll get it working now :D
