Hello. Finally got a new laptop and was able to install and use LCPDFR 0.95. I've got game play down pretty well, however I've downloaded multiple different mods for cars, skins and the Maryland State Police. However when i load the game, i am still only getting defult vehicles. I've downloaded the "ELS" portion as well. Taser does work, unless that a defult wepon. Looking for an unmarked Crown Vic. and Tahoe and instructions on how to change colors and light packages. Thank you for your help!

Okay, for the first part, are you even installing them? If not, get Spark IV and look on Youtube for installing instructions.

The taser is not really default, but is installed. The Vic and Tahoe can be found in the Downloads section, most likely with CJ24 or EVI.

also i had installed the dash cam and license reader, neither of which are showing up. im band new at this, and ive been watching as many youtube videos as i can, but its not really helping too much. thanks.

Okay, just remember to Save and Rebuild!

I am not sure how to run the Dash Cam, but it should be in the read me. You also have to be in the car. I think you might place the files in the Scripts folder. Which license Reader?

Okay, well, uhh...The trunk mounted one doesn't actually work, it's only part of a car...

So, make sure you have a vehicle. Check if it is ELS enabled or non-ELS.

If it is ELS, you can get it from gtapolicemods.com. Place the files in the main directory and read the controls in the .ini, and you can play! (I can't provide links as of now, as I have to go.)

you need to import the files through spark iv, then hit save, then rebuild, close the one window and hit save again and close out spark

1) open spark

2) hit browse

3) scroll to PC then select cdimages

4) select vehicles.img

5) hit edit

6) hit import

7) find the two car files, a WFT and a WTD

8) hit open

9) hit save

10) hit rebuild

11) close that window

12) hit save on the window behind it

13) shut down sparkiv

14) open GTAIV and locate car

ok, watched a youtube video, and it helped me out greatly, however an unwanted download occured and i just went ahead and reinstalled the entire game and mods. im only able to install 2 vehicles, even after going thru spark 5, however i can deal with that. my biggest question is the ELS. it worked last time, but now its not working. ive re watched the video and did everything the same, but with no results. thanks for the help!!

Is the car turned on the in the INI...is the car you placed in ELS enabled? do you have a mod thats conflicting with the ELS keys eg: SNT?

did you save the installation that may be your problem

ok. i was an idiot. i installed non ELS vehicles. Next question, when a vehicle such as FBI tahoe and crown vic have the same name, how do you aquire both. or better yet, how do you add multiple vehicles at one time when they all contain the same name?? does it matter??? also, bought an xbox controlled, SOOOOOO much better!!!! thank you everyone for all of your help!!!

the tahoe should be polpat, you can change the names around sometimes

1) you need the proper skin for the car/truck etc, open spark, open up the wft with the edit button i think, if thats not the one with all the textures, then edit the other, select the texture you want to replace, hit import, locate new one, hit open, save and close, save, save, close, tada
