Police Bike (policeb) EFLC Ai reponse

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

First post had a search through this forum, couldn't find an answer, not even on google. Is there a way or has anyone created a mod/script change that enables siren response by the AI drivers for the police bike in EFLC? I've often wanted to do a patrol on the bike in a session of LCPD:FR having to always weave through the traffic avoiding the AI making blind turns makes sense for normal bike use but becomes tiresome whilst going lights & sirens.

On Another note and of no particular urgency:

I'd really like to see more textures (especially LCPD generic ones) and even a proper helmet made for the police bikes eventually (I'm crap at such things, so patiently waiting on the creative types).

Anyway, love the site!

... I don't particularly understand you but there is nothing stopping you from selecting the police bike in LCPD:FR on TBoGT and using it to patrol.

And the thing about a police helmet is that headwear is tied to the ped, so you could only pick the right ped that you have modified to have the helmet. It also means that the AI would probably wear it like they do for any other hat. So it's possible but it might have some side effects.

Ah thanks for the clarification on the helmet.

As for what I was asking about: Currently AI cars do not move out of the way of the police bike when it has it's sirens on. It's a bug/nuance of the game, as if the bike itself is not recognized as a police vehicle by the AI. I was wondering if there was a way to fix that.

You could just go between the cars... it's a bike.

EDIT: Sorry, missed where you said you didn't want to do that. AFAIK, there's no way to make AI pull over, but G17 has surprised me before.
