Hello everyone so for starters I understand this might not be the best place post this but when I am directed to the Rage Hook forums website there hasn't been replies to post in over 6 months from either administrators or users to the seemingly endless post for help.  

 

I have used LSPDFR since it came out on and off and have used many of the submods and plugins.

My situation is a little odd.

 

Everyone time I run RagePluginHook from the gta directory it starts the launcher like it always has but Rage comes up with a message stating "GTAlauncher.exe exited unexpectedly, please try again. If the problem persist please restart your computer."  EVEN THOUGH the launcher is still running and completely loads GTA fine with no problems. In the game Ragepluginhook is not present at all and am unable to use the F4 menu.  I cant even get a Rage Log to see why it wont work.  I have even removed all other mods where the only thing in the directory other than the base game files in RagePluginHook and it still does the same thing.  I have followed all of the instruction here listed on their website http://forums.ragepluginhook.net/posts/t3373-Instructions-YOU-MUST-follow-before-posting.  and nothing seems to work.

Open your GTA V directory and right click in a blank spot, then click "properties".  Uncheck "read only mode" and apply it to all folders and sub folders.  Then launch the game.

Ive tried that and when I go to do it again it keeps automatically making the read only boxed checked again even though I have unchecked it and applied it many times

Try launching Rage as admin.

I'm sorry I should have mentioned that specifically but that was in deed one of the things I tried including all of the others things here http://forums.ragepluginhook.net/posts/t3373-Instructions-YOU-MUST-follow-before-posting

 

 

Have you tried running RAGEPluginHook.exe AFTER the game has started?

So I just tried that even though the gun was running fine and I was in there walking around I tried to start RagePLuginHook from the directory and it tried to launch it again from steam where I got an error message from steam saying this app is already running then another error message from Rage stating the GTAVLauncher exited unexpectedly again lol
