Texture Problem with t0y's [ELS] LSPD Mega Pack

Featured Replies

Hi (I apologize in advance if i'm doing something wrong here i'm new to this site)

Recently t0y released a new LSPD pack: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/16867-els-lspd-mega-pack/ and I installed it exactly as instructed to in the read me file but i'm having a strange texture glitch with all 3 CVPIs included in the pack however, all of the other vehicles are working fine (and the models look normal in OpenIVs fragment viewer thing). The only possible fix mentioned on the pack's page is that another file from a different model is still installed somewhere but I have triple checked everywhere I can think of and can find no other police, police4 or sheriff files except for the vanilla models. PLEASE HELP I REALLY WANT THIS PACK!!!

Thank you!!

At this point, I believe the issue is just with these three models and not your game.  I'm sorry to say, but I advise using a different pack, or just use three different Vics.  You could also ask T0y

Hi there,

Please make sure you're using the very latest patchday, and that all the files for the car are named correctly.

I installed all of the models into patchday15ng (I think thats the latest) and all of the files are correctly named but i'm still having the issue.

Do me a favor, please.  Try swamping out the CVPI slot shown above for the Explorer.  Don't touch the meta or anything, just switch vehicle files.  Does the Explorer now have the same issue and the CVPI is normal?

No, the CVPI is still messed up and the FPIU is fine.

Please redownload all of the CVPIs from that pack and do a fresh install of them.

I just tested the model shown in your screenshot and it works fine for me.  Check x64e and make sure none of the files this replaces are there. Unfortunately, it's going to be difficult for us to see what the problem is on your end that is causing this.  Are these the first replacement vehicles you've added?

No, I have had 2 previous packs, one I uninstalled manually and tested, the other came with an automatic uninstaller which I used and also tested to see if it had worked (both worked). I have checked x64e and its just the vanilla models.

You're using a mods folder, right?  Please take a screenshot showing the path you're using.

Yes i'm using a mods folder

I read over T0y's file and found you posted about the issue, as did three other people. At this time, because only four people are struggling with it, I feel like it's something on your guys's end causing the problem.  What that may be, I don't know.  I advise moving your mods folder onto your desktop and remaking it.  Only install T0y's LSPD pack, then load in game.  If the vehicles spawn just fine, the issue is something in your mods folder.

I created a new mods folder with just patchday15ng and only installed the pack but the problem still persists so I guess this means its not something to do with my mods folder?

Ah, thats a shame. One of the main reasons for me downloading this pack was because of the CVPI with the bike rack. Never mind, thanks for trying to help i'll try to contact t0y but I doubt i'll find a fix anytime soon. Thanks again

You're welcome.  Just to be 100% sure, please replace the three CVPIs asap and see how those models react.

I downloaded a CVPI pack: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/16863-2011-forza-cvpi-pack/ and replaced them with the original CVPIs, when I loaded up the game I had no issues whatsoever.

Very, very strange issue.  No clue why it'd just affect four people.
