It looks like your light setting during the day is a bit on the low side.  In the visualsettings, look for "car.defaultlight.emissive.on".  There will be a day and night option.  For the day option, change it to 6000.00.

6000.00? no typo? holy that's bright! My emissives are

day: 400   night: 200

I had no idea ramping up the emissives also changed the hue of the colors. Thanks!

Nope, not a typo. :)  Mine is set to that during the day and my lights aren't too bright.  Granted, some people might prefer them to be slightly less bright, but I think they look perfect.

 

If you're not happy with how they look at night, you can change the night option to 1500.00.

I'll try your numbers for a boot up here. I only catch a glimpse of the sirens with nice pretty lens flares and corona's when I hit the pause menu.

I have downloaded x5 peds x5 traffic but the config crashes my game. something specific about this current config

is holding everything together. I'd like to continually bump up the peds and traffic and see where the config (and my computers)

limits are.

Unfortunately I don't.  I've never edited the gameconfig.

Kallus, I'm using a slightly altered version of the numbers you gave me. The lights look great. However, do your lights change back to yellow for a few hours during dusk & dawn?

I noticed that around 4-5am and 7-8pm they are in a weird transition from day to night and are yellow once again for a few in game minutes.

I haven't had this happem.  It might not be bright enough.
